Emerging through a fog of noise, intricate percussion locked with solid bass and shiny guitars, Cheltenham based Andy Oliveri & The Mountaineers feel like Death Cab For Cutie’s long lost brothers. Some crystal-like atmospheric sounds swath in with a real beauty before the track marches on progressively getting under your skin with riff continuation and variation and low key vocals. It’s a bold introduction track to a band who sound like they’re creating great chemistry together live and in the studio. The video doesn’t disappoint, with some philosophical words and imagery.
