“Welcome to your new favourite rock band” is what we get from the intro to Heavy Suns ‘Hide’. It’s a bold Oasis / Stone Roses style intro which seems somehow fresh aswell. After a restrained angstry verse, a tidal wave of guitars and backing screams plough in pleasingly filling up the sonic space. This band do a popular sound very well and ‘Hide’ may be the opposite of what this band do if they keep on putting out tracks like this.
