Phobophobes ‘No Flavour’

Top slab of stomping psyche-sleaze here from a band with one of the coolest names we’ve heard in a long while, Phobophobes.  It seems the name, meaning being phobic of anyone with a phobia is a reflection of how the band see the world and a bizarre homage to those members of society who have to put up with the awful neurotics around us in a sort of Dan Ashcroft ‘Rise Of The Idiots’ way. Some great in your face wordery in here to describe their frustration like “Putting up shelves for the books you never read” and “canned meat, canned laughter” swiping at disposable pop-culture and the hypocrisy of psuedo-individuals. Excellently sickly hypnotic stuff.
