Named after shamanic brews used for visionary experiences, the beginning of this track feels like the beginning of a trip. Phasing guitars wash over unexpectedly and uncontrollably and there’s a continues wild shambolic abstract feeling as the track goes on. The wildness ensuing obviously after an upset over a stolen spindle. The singer has an attitude and sound a little bit like Kim Gordon or one of the Warpaint girls with a cattle prod applied. I love the chaotic sound and seemingly spontaneous bits of overdubbing / jamming gold, the balance sounding a bit Pixies-esque with rogue lead guitars at the forefront sometimes, other times just singular bass and drums. It also reminds me of early Select All Delete Save As.
