Quite a dated electro sound to this new track from Nicholas Krgovick but there’s something comforting to it. Perhaps as a child of the 80’s it brings up from the subconscious subliminal sounds heard in my very early years. The twinkling pianos at the beginning have that sort of Genesis reflection to them and his voice is a little bit Bryan Ferry, it’s a very cinematic romantic atmosphere. There’s a groove with a little bit more 80’s style electro sound goodness. There’s a slight Blue Nile bass wobble at points, and lead guitar dabbles amongst introspective lyrics of being alone in hotel rooms and brass and string sounds adding warmth and increasing for epic effect at different points. It’s reflective, soulful, groovy and epic. A winner.
